Hi, HELP.
I have only recentley discovered HHO and intend fitting it to my car.
My problem is that there is a vast amount of information out there. I looking for a ready made unit that is reliable and easy to install. Can anyone recommend a suitable product as I am keen to proceed.

Hello,

I am really interested in HHO and there is one thing I really think would be my big problem, I know that you can give me some help.

I want to address the O2 sensor problem, I would like to build an EFIE but I would like to ask if you could send me a a design for workable and easy to find parts from my local radio shock store, I mean a complete list of parts needed and a good schematic diagram.

In addition i also would like to know what do they (others) mean by detaching the O2 sensor? is it by disconnecting the O2 sensor from the ECU wire or is it by disconnecting the O2 sensor from the exhaust pipe?

I will be expecting your reply soon.
Thanks a lot and more green power to all.

God Bless guys.

I have opted for buying an EFIE as there are plenty for sale out there, try E-BAY. The other method you mention is an adapter which steps the o2 sensor away from the centre of the exhaust stream, thus altering the ecu reading, this apparently must be run for 15-20 miles before fitting your HHO kit, again, you will find these on E-BAY. Hope this is helpful.

Hi all ... newbie self-build here ... on a SAILBOAT !

My engine is a single-cylinder 8horse diesel thumper ... one advantage on a boat ( as opposed to a road vehicle ) is the lack of frequent throttle variation ... another advantage is that my 65amp alternator has only 2 purposes ... 1 is to charge my battery bank & 2 is to power the HHO gen ... I am getting nearer to completing my HHO system ready for it's first test ... reading & learning as I go ... as I understand it, I would need around 2 volts into my electrolyser & not 12 to 14 volts as put out by an alternator ... how do I reduce my alternator supply to the electrolyser down to 2 volts ?

So .... no reply to this query by 22 Nov 2010 ... is this just not do-able or what ? ... I figure I would need to reduce the output from my second alternator ( 14volts 30amps ) down to 2volts with as many amps as poss ? ... not keen to power the HHO from my battery bank or from the primary alternator .... Help !
