North is correct in regards to O2 sensors. If you have Electronic Fuel Injection and install a HHO kit, you need to address the O2 sensors with an EFIE.
What happens is the HHO makes the exhaust have more oxygen because of the production of HHO from H2O. This extra oxygen in the exaust will pass by the O2 sensors and they will tell the engine that it is NOT getting enough fuel. This causes more fuel to be injected into the vehicle and the end result is no fuel gain when the HHO unit is installed.
First, Verify that you have O2 sensors and then buy an
EFIE and install it. They are only $59 unless you have more than one O2 sensor.
All should be good then.
