DRY CELL

just came from a website selling dry cell generators.does anyone know how these things work and are they better than regular or wet cell generators.does anyone know!!!!

There are pros and cons of using the wet cell as well as the dry cell

Wet Cell
1) Is limited by its existing tank needs to refill frequently
2) The whole unit needs to be replaced after the wear of the unit
3) The cell tends to have high operating temperature
4) Wet cell can still be added in parallel to produce much more hydrogen but the size includes the tank as well


Dry Cell
1) It is not limited by any tank and an external tank can be made based on the frequency of refilling water
2) Only the fuel cell can just be replaced after the wear of the unit
3) The cell tends to have lower operating temperature comparison to wet cell
4) The cell can be added in parallel to produce much more hydrogen and can be modified to a single external tank

Nowadays, all professionals use dry cells only as i previously experimented with 5 different wet cells, 1. wet cells heat up quickly, 2. does not produce as much gas as dry cells, 3. more regular top-up required. Once i had started using Dry Cells i did not want to use another wet cell and never will, although they're a little harder to make and more expensive, longer term, they'll save you more money and very less hassle.
