What about a backfire???

Hello All,
I cant remember the amount of times i've seen it asked in HHO what happens if my car backfires, there has been allot of videos of people HHO set ups blown up and generators torn apart and such. I was thinking what if there was a detector built for a back fire like a thermal motion sensor that would cut of the gas going into the intake and turn off the HHO Generator before anything can travel back into the line to where the HHO system is. I did a google search to see if there is anything on the market and i didn't succeed if anyone has any info on gadgetry or sources i would be more than happy to look into it, i mean a good car is a safe one. A few years ago I tried to invent a replacment for Lawnmower Carburators. Something like an electronic pulsed Needle jet. Backfires happend, but my little invention kept it out of the Fuel system.

All those little B&S engines will backfire through the carb.
That flame that leaks back toward the intake valve, which is still partly open, will burn almost anything in the intake passage.

Gasoline will burn longer than HHO. It flashes about the same as HHO.
This is what I'd say about the possibility of backfire.
As close as you can, to the orfice where the HHO goes into the intake, make an ealily exploding device, or a spring loaded needle valve that will slam shut if any "Pressure" comes back to it.

I'm still learning. I hope this is not a lot of Snake oil! If it isn't, we should see a backfire arrestor pretty soon.
