need some help

i have a 2001 chevy S-10 with a 4.3 litter engine. i have a efie and a map sensor enhancer. on long trips (40 miles or more) i get better gas mllage but just back and forth to work (6.5 miles) i dont do any better than i did without hho. on my O2 sensors i have a duel efie, i have tried setting it at the lowest to the highest. when i go aboue .15 volts i get check engine codes p1133, p1153. when i check the voltage to the computer it goes up and down . it does not matter it i have the efie on or off. i was woundering if i might be using the wrong kind efie or what.
