HHO at engine start up

Postby daneff on Thu Apr 09, 2009 7:39 pm

I'm still gathering my materials for my first HHO generator. In the meantime I've been wondering if HHO gas remains in the supply line between the generator and the air intake of the engine when the car is not running. When a car with an HHO system installed is started up is there a "lag time" before HHO gas enters the cylinders? Seems with all the fine tuning required to get the engine to run smoothly with the HHO gas, it would initially run rough at start up until gas reached the cylinders. Just wondering how long this rough period might be.

Daneff,
The Hydroxy stays in the lines for some time before returning to it's liquid state (very minute bit of moisture). This won't hurt a thing. As soon as the engine starts, the HHO will enter the intake. I don't know what you're talking about as far as making any adjustments to your engine as it's not necessary to do anything! The Hydroxy merely mixes with the vaporized gas and causes the gas/air mixture to burn completely, thus increasing the gas mileage.
