E85 and HHO on non flex fuel engines

Postby smurf on Sun Jan 25, 2009 9:22 pm

I'm new to this (forums and HHO), and last year I downloaded a ebook about spiral wire HHO generator-having read all the posts on this forum (very helpful-thank you everyone!) I wonder if using E85 on a non flex fuel EFI vehicle and HHO can offset one another? E85 (70 to 85% ethyl alcohol/ethanol-rest petroleum) tends to make the engines run lean (most cars won't dump in enough fuel for correct air/fuel ratio; engine computer thinks something's broken), and it sounds like the HHO tends to make the engine computer try to make the fuel mixture richer. I will try to install a HHO generator on at least one of our cars (95 saturn twin cam, 98 audi a4 2.8l) and see what happens. Anyone else have any experience with E85 and a HHO generator?
