Big box of parts kit

Postby Gordy on Tue Jul 07, 2009 6:04 pm

I am debating whether to buy this Big box of parts kit or go out and buy the parts myself.
Will this kit make it much more efficient than me buying parts myself?
I own a 2001 Honda Accord V4 and wonder if I need extra components to make it more efficient.

I noticed many other electronic gadgets for improved results, little confused right now.
If I install the big box of parts kit and nothing else, what do you think my fuel economy increase by 30% 50% ..
And if I buy the extra components like EFIE sensors and stuff how much will it improve by with these?

I dont want to go thru the trouble of just purchasing the above kit and find out that it is not enough improvement without the extra components.
I think this car has 2 O2 sensors.

Also how often do we have to add water in the container, and is there anything else that needs to be added to the water.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

you will probbably need other components, ckeck out this website, they have a kit with every thing or they will put a kit together with the components that you need, I have one on my car, and I really do get about 45% mileage gains. www.alternativeenergy2day.com, they were very helpful with the installation I just called the # and they walked me through it.

thanks billhac

I was wondering why you chose that kit instead of Bob Volks, hybrid water power kit.
What kind of car do you drive and does it have 2 O2 sensors.
So what extras did you purchase along with the HGS kit that is shown to get 45% increase.
How long have you had it installed for and what sort of maintenace is required.

How many miles do you go before you have to add more water? what other chemicals are required to for this system?
I have a 2001 honda accord v4 which I am wanting to convert, not sure what all extra components I should be ordering so your experience could help me.

thanks

Gordy,

Bob Volk's "Big Box of Parts" is everything for the "Brute Force" method which works very well. If you have an o2 sensor, then YES, you will need a EFIE. Hands down. You will not see the gains without one because your computer will simply compensate for the added oxygen in the exhaust.

Also, I'd recommend getting a PWM as well. this will help lower your amps along with producing much more HHO. Bob Volk has all these parts and more on his main site. You can access the site via this link

I'd recommend Bob's products 100% more than that other site that billhac recommend. Bob has been doing HHO for MANY years and 100% supports his products.

Thanks EddieRock

I think I have to agree with you on that, his website is very elaborate compare to other ones.
I am leaning towards him, also he has a very good response time to my emails aswell.

I appreciate your suggestions, I should get the two extra components you recommended.
Have you used his kit and what sort of gains did you achieve.

Do you know how many miles we can go before we have to add water and electrolyte to this system.

I am in Canada, so what do I need to keep the water from freezing, does the cold weather affect the efficiency of this system?

thanks

I got my kit before i was a member here, but with the new component that i got from that site my mileage went way up, it just took some setting to get it right, and it has a duel EFIE built right in, I need to refil the generator about once a month or so, it doesent get cold enough here to freeze so i use nothing but electrolyte. my car is a 98 lexus es300, I took it to lopers to get a dyno test done, and we did 2 runs one was baseline without my HHO system and the other was with the HHO system on, bottom line, my car turned in 20 more horse power and 18% more torque, and did so while useing less gasoline. If you wand I could email you the dyno report just give me your email address.

thanks for the feedback billhac

I am curious to know what exactly is that new component you got from that site that made your MPG increase alot?
Would you recommend just buying the book and DIY, or purchase the kit?
That dyno test result is pretty impressive, thanks.
Do you have 1 or 2 generator system?
I heard that with 1 gen. you can increase by about 40-50% but with 2 gens you can double the MPG.

cheers

1 generator, and if you are handy with tools they are not that hard to make, It has something to do with controlling all sensors that control air/ fuel, like map, o2 , iat, ect sensors
